Our History
Founded in 1967, the Chicago Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (CCBFA) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to international trade. Over the decades it has maintained a robust and active membership, deeply involved in Customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and the broader import/export trade industry.
Goals & Objectives
The Board of Directors and specifically empowered committees execute this mission through many forms of activity, such as:
- Analyzing issues confronting the trade community.
- Meeting regularly with local government agencies and members to advocate effective policies.
- Communicating relevant information to the trade.
- Conducting seminars and conferences to foster professional growth.
- Sponsoring events and activities that develop acquaintance and good fellowship among members.
